Depression At Its Finest !

Hi my blog readers! So, I know you are all wondering what this post is about, right? Well, this post will be about my personal feeling at the moment, so just bear with me people and maybe help me get through this feeling. 

I just want to share how I am suffering with depression, not everyday but i think twice a week. I think that's not a good sign on how a person is feeling, even I know that it is unhealthy. It's not my fault that I have to struggle with this because I can't think of a reason to be happy or make myself happy, I mean I've been receiving bad news and if not, I will not be receiving any news at all especially good one, and that makes me feel nothing because I know that there aren't anything happening to me or in my life, just simply waiting. 

Waiting isn't bad, but what if you are waiting for a long time already, very long time? Can you still say that it is not bad? I think not. Plus, with the whole time you've been waiting, bad news will always be there to give more of a heart break, it's never easy. It's a whole lot of struggling to do since you can't do anything with it because you don't even know how to start. What you can only do is to wait and stare plus if you will do those simple and little steps, what will be in return? Bad News. Big question is, how will you be able to lighten yourself if all of these are happening? If you can't even tell what will happen and you can't even think if everything is alright. 

Simple things that your simple wants are not happening, even the simplest things. Those simple wishes, as simple as having a return reply from someone or having that urge to get something but turns out to be a never gonna happen statement. One is ok, Two is fine, Three is enough but if it reaches Four, Five and more? That I don't know already, that feeling of being down all the time, those moment when you want to be happy but it's hard because of a certain situation. Those times when you will think on how to improve yourself, that you will do something that you think can help the flow of it to make things better but even how hard you will do, how you make things easy, it will always come around as a challenge, a very difficult challenge that you will end up crying. 

Simplest things you do for you to make yourself proud and happy, but it seems like nothing is happening, like you are alone. Like you are all by yourself, that no one is appreciating who you are and the things you do seems like it's a waste and no one likes what your doing. Simplest things that are easy for others but for you is a challenge and a situation where you're riding a seesaw but you are all alone and down. The feeling where you are already struggling for yourself but when it comes to others, they find it easy and they find themselves happy or if you know a person is stuck with a huge problem but still can manage to be happy and stay on track and the look on how the person seems like nothing happened but for you, it seems like everything is a mess, like Hope already left you and the feeling where you are sitting all alone in a plain white empty room. The situation where, in able to make yourself happy, you will just act your imagination on how you want your life you wanted to be and how you want it to happen. The feeling where expectation for you is already a broken word where it will always hurt you at the end of the day, the feeling you want to be yourself but you chose not to be because you know it will be more entertaining to be someone else. When you wanted something so much and then at the end of the day you will not be getting it or when you're happiness will be a simple reply from someone but you didn't have that but others had, all feels very excruciating both mentally and emotionally.

Until now, it's been a struggle already. The feeling is very heavy, you're so down and it feels like no one will help you get through this. To still be strong, I will get the strength from my family and loved one cause even if they don't know what I am going through at the moment, they still manage to make me smile and with that, I will know that I can still be happy. Another is the faith from GOD, with everything that is happening, I know that he will be there to support and guide me, with all the waiting I know with Patience and Faith, I believe it's gonna be worth it. Wishing me GoodLuck and hopefully this will end soon and hoping to get through this without finding myself crying. :')

Milk Tea Madness !

Now adays, there a lot of trending products being supported by the market, whether it is in a form of snack, pastries, fastfood and even beverages. All are now a certified trend for everyone, as long as it will taste good and the quality given will satisfy a certain customer. A simple chips and burger are just ordinary snacks now adays and another, coffee and chocolate drink are now simple drinks. When you say trending for people, it must be NEW, UNIQUE, MIND BLOWING and has the QUALITY of a keeper. If a person finds something that attracted his attention and tries it then having that thought that it is great. Then, it will start the trend of making that product be part of the market competition and will be known to different places. One product that I know that is starting to swoop the nation and guarantee that it definitely has the fight for it is... MILK TEA!

Different Milk Tea flavors from Chatime (Milk Tea shop)

If I am not mistaken, the first Milk Tea shop I saw and loved will be Zen Tea, I've been searching for hours to seek a picture of it but seems like I wasn't able to save some photos of it. Well anyway, Zen Tea is the shop which introduces me to the heaven taste of Milk Tea, trying it for the first time made me think that Tea is not just for a simple blend of cold and hot beverage but it can be better with the milk incorporated with the tea. It is actually a great discovery since the stall of Zen Tea is located just inside our campus so we can enjoy it most of the time, actually everyday, (it's just that I am not sure if drinking it everyday will be bad for you). Zen Tea offers different flavors such as Chocolate, Caramel, Malt, Almond and etc. It has a huge variety of beverages; from Milk Tea to different flavors of blended juice. After enjoying Zen Tea, I may say that I am now a huge fan of Milk Tea because every time I go to the mall, it's always Milk Tea I am searching for, I am actually now on a mission to try different shops selling Milk Tea. I know it's not going to be difficult since it is now scattered all over the Metro and here are some of them...

Serenitea (Alabang Town Center)

I found Serenitea a Milk Tea shop in Alabang Town Center, since I've been watching movies all the time at that mall, it's not difficult to notice since it is just beside it and also, a line is always forming so it means that it is really good since people will wait for it just to have one. So, I decided to try it, I think I ordered some sort of Chocolate with Caramel but I'm not sure. It was good but it doesn't have that blast in me, I mean it didn't make me a fan of it. I tried it once and I am still not sure if I will try it again, the price is good and reasonable, the taste it somewhere 7-8 out of 10. Well, maybe I will try it again just to be sure and we'll see if the second time is a charm.

Chatime

Chatime Shop (Alabang Town Center)

Chatime is also a Milk Tea shop found in Alabang Town Center, it is actually located 2nd floor at the new wing of the mall. The shop is not that big, enough to fit 10 people dining in and can be easily be full if a line forms which is not a surprise since it is a good Milk Tea shop. It also has a lot of flavors offered and people will enjoy them, from kids to adults, definitely a refreshing drink and healthy as well (but not too much). Pearl Milk Tea is a favorite of mine here in Chatime, but there are a lot of good flavors as well, except for one that I find odd because of the taste of it, seems like for me it does not go well with tea (i'm just saying) and that flavor is Taro. I know what Taro is, in some other form of food or drink it is good but for this one, I am not sure, that is why when I bought it and didn't like it, my friend, actually my real friend traded me her Milk Tea because she can't stand me complaining beside her everytime I taste the Taro flavored Milk Tea of Chatime and with that, I love her so much! *wink*. Chatime's price range for its beverages actually is very reasonable and just right with the good quality it has, definitely worth it.

SIP

Here's another shop of Milk Tea, its name is SIP. It is very catchy cause when you sip the drink for the first time, you will definitely continue sipping it because it tastes really good. How good it is? well I introduced Milk Tea way before to a friend of mine and she keeps on refusing to drink it because everytime she buys one, she will not be liking it but when we saw this shop and tried it, I saw a smile on her face and it only means one thing, she's actually enjoying Milk Tea, at last! (shallow but I find it cute and interesting). That is why we keep on coming back for this and she's actually the one asking me to go here with her. It's just a big problem that is blocking us from having the opportunity to enjoy this everyday and it is the location of the shop. Sip shop can be found in Robinsons Galleria, 2nd floor and it is easy to notice since it is in the middle of the place. From Muntinlupa going to Galleria is definitely a long travel and just buying Sip Milk Tea is not a good reason to spend fare for it (even if there are times we wanted to dare). Different flavors are also offered and there are two types of it; one is Milk Tea and the other one is Chappuccino. Different flavors offered by Sip are certified two thumbs up for me but the price of it is a little bit pricey for me, since it is just a beverage to have that price. Yes it is really good but the feeling of spending that amount of money with just a drink is sometimes a thought to be thought twice. All in all it is really good plus the personnel are friendly so it is really nice to stay at the place. 

Happy Leaf (SM City Lucena)

Here's another brand of Milk Tea I tried, Happy Leaf Milk Tea. Actually I never thought that there's such a shop until I visited our province which is Lucena City, Quezon and this shop is found at SM City Lucena. I actually didn't know that I will be drinking Milk Tea at that time because I am not familiar with the place and while walking, the stall of this shop got my attention and it made me so curious yet happy that hey, even if I am at the province, I would still get the chance of drinking my favorite drink. Then, we tried it! Yes it was good, taste-wise and price-wise is very reasonable and worth it. The brand name is not that popular but even if the situation is like that, it has the quality that can knock over competition. It also has different flavors to choose at and seems like all are people's choice based on what I heard from people ordering but the only problem is, there's no line at all, people can just yell there order then if you're lucky enough and the bartender would hear it, then you're lucky. All in all it is good and maybe trying another flavor if I have the chance to go back to my province.

Also, I tried other brands of Milk Tea and these are Happy Lemons and Infinitea. It's just that I wasn't able to take pictures of it to also show it here but you can just search it through Google or Yahoo. Happy Lemons is a popular brand in the Philippines since one of the franchises is owned by an athlete/celebrity and yes the flavors are great and price is also worth paying for. One of the stalls can be found in Trinoma Mall, 4th floor near the cinemas. Then Infinitea is also great, flavors are very common but it is good so that people won't hesitate to order since they are familiar with the flavors and yes it is good and price is reasonable as well but I think the size of the cup is not that convincing, maybe a bit more in the size of cups would make it great. Flavors are great and also the price, so everything is good!

Based on what I watched and read way way before, and also I asked some bartenders of Milk Tea shops on how it is made, it is by boiling Black Tea Leaves then after, the leaves will be taken out of the water by straining it. Then that water will be the juice of it then the flavors will be added into it plus milk, cream and sugar then mix it well and BAM! You have your Milk Tea. This procedure is not that precised, I mean it is not approved that the proper procedure is this way, to be sure and relaxed, again there is Google and Yahoo to answer your questions. Goodluck in making your own Milk Tea version and don't hesitate to comment about it! Yeyyy! 

Well, there it is, my addiction to Milk Tea. Drinking Milk Tea is yes, it has its health benefits since it is an herb but drinking too much is ofcourse would have its consequences that is why it is better to control it since I am sure that it will not be gone soon, with the response getting from the market, it will still have that competition and there may be more of Milk Tea brands that would come up in the future. Let's just enjoy drinking these refreshing beverage until it lasts. I know that there are a lot of brands out there and I my journey and mission is not yet done trying and experiencing Milk Tea varieties, so come with me and let's explore this product.

Taking up chances :)

Hmmm, Yes it's been a while since the last time I posted and that is because of me being busy and of course the chances where I can't think of anything to post and that is what my problem is. Sometimes, I will be having that topic in mind then moment after, I will forget all about it all of a sudden. That's what is taking so long for me to post and for me to make sure that my blog is active, I continue thinking about some resolutions and the result is to make ... SHORT STORIES !

Yes yes, I know I am a bit overachieving (hahaha!), but c'mon can a man have his dreams answered on his own blog? Well anyway, YES I will be making my own short stories and hopefully people will enjoy it and who knows it will end up winning awards *wink*. How did I decide to do this? Well, what happened is that, I always wanted my blog to be active so that people will always visit my blog and the situation where I am having trouble thinking of topics turns up and for me as much a possible I want this to stay alive . Me, thinking that I know myself as a person who has a wild imagination and there are a lot of stories going through my mind, it made me realize why not try to make it come to life or to share it in where maybe some people will like it. Then another, a person very close to me is always telling me that I will be a good writer since I always make things up and I do have a good imagination with situations, funny but true! *wink*. So, I am really hoping to make this hit and hopefully it works!

Well there it is, that is the story behind me being a huge dreamer as an author, just want to make my life very risky and wanting to try new things so just support me people ok? It will not hurt anyone and yet you may also enjoy it. So, there! I will be starting this dream of mine as soon as possible. Will just keep you posted and hopefully you will all enjoy! Thank You!

A Healthier way to enjoy your Toast or your Sandwich !

Now adays, a lot of different types of food are scattered all over the world. It can be found in different food outlets such as; Fast-food chains, Restaurants, Eatery, Cafeteria, Food stalls and even Sidewalk stores. Different varieties of food are being offered in the said food outlets, food made from Chicken, Beef, Pork, Fish, Vegetables, Fruits, Rice, Pasta, Pastries and even Sandwiches. 

Actually, with the different food found around us is really questionable if it is healthy or not. Also, questions such as " How was it made?", "What are the flavorings in this?", "Is this clean?" and many more are asked by most people when buying it from outlets that has an image of not being healthy. Home-made dishes and dishes from Restaurants are considered as quality food but in other outlets, it may have the thought that is it unhealthy.

Even if these different types of delicious food are present, there are people that are very concern when it comes to the food that they are eating. People that are very sensitive when it comes to their figure. People that are very picky when it comes to the food that they will have even if there are a lot of different yummy dishes and snacks found just around the corner. Having this habit is not bad, it is actually good for the body and for their health but sometimes people with this habit tortures themselves in order for them not to gain weight or stay healthy. These people will choose not to eat a certain food because they believe that it is fattening so they will  focus on not to eat those. But sometimes, having this habit is not good as well, it is what you call, "killing yourself slowly". People can still eat what they like but in a healthier form, it is called Alternatives.

We will be focusing on one of the foods that are often eaten by most people but also being avoided because it is a source of Carbohydrates. This time, a healthier form will be introduced and I am talking about White Bread and Whole Wheat Bread as its alternative.

Difference between White Bread and Whole Wheat Bread 

When it comes to bread, it is a good alternative when it comes to eating rice because it has a lower Carbohydrates rate and it will make you feel full. It is considered healthier as well but some people still avoid eating bread because they are still concern about the Carbohydrates that they will get, but there is a better and even healthier alternative for it and it is Whole Wheat Bread. Eating White Bread is not bad but when it comes to health benefits and even body benefits, Whole Wheat Bread is way better.

How Whole Wheat Bread is better than White Bread .

These two kinds of bread are made from the same source which is the Wheat Berries. Wheat Berries are the one made as flour and it contains three main parts and these are the Bran, the Germ and the Endosperm. The big difference is that White bread is from White flour that contains only the Endosperm and it is considered as nutritional lightweight but for the Whole Wheat bread, it is made from Whole Wheat flour which contains all of the three where it is rich in Fiber, Magnesium, Zinc, Folic Acid, Chromium, Vitamins B6 and E. Each of the said nutrients are essential to your health.

From all the said nutrients of the Whole Wheat bread, Fiber is the main focus and very important. Fiber is known as an aid for digestive health. Eating food rich in Fiber can make you feel full in a longer time that is why Fiber helps a person lose or maintain its weight. Also, Fiber reduces the risk of having Strokes and Heart-Attacks. It is balanced as 8 to 1, it means that a person must eat 8 slices of White bread in order to get the same amount of Fiber found in just a slice of Whole Wheat bread. 

How to determine if it is Whole Wheat Bread .

It is actually easy to identify and it is by simply checking on the loaf, if you see that there are tiny bits of Whole grain in it, then it is Whole Wheat bread. Also, you can check the label when buying, it is simply says " Whole Wheat Bread" and the color of the bread is usually brown. Remember, Whole Wheat Bread is better the Wheat Bread, if it is not Whole Wheat, check again. Always read the label.

So, even if you are on a diet or you want to be healthy, there are a lot of ways to enjoy food and not torture yourself. It is much better than having yourself suffer not eating what you like because you can actually do but in a healthier form which is finding an alternative for it. Remember that Life is good, and it will depend on us on how are we going to make it better, by better I mean having what we want. It is not bad to change your routines or try something new as long as you make sure that you know and it is proven as real. It is better to live healthy and happy than healthy but tortured. Always remember that a food will be healthy if all ingredients of it are healthy but if only 1 ingredient is healthy and the rest is not, it is not considered as healthy. 

ENOUGH is ENOUGH but MORE IS TOO MUCH !

5 years and counting !

Each and everyone of us are wanting to attend shows of our favorite personalities such as different actors and actresses, also comedians but the most awaited concerts are from singers and bands. TAKEYA - ALL GOOD !

Every time we go out, hang-out or even just relax at the mall or anywhere; what will be our usual question? "What to do?" - I don't think so. "Where to go?" - Not really. "What to buy?" - Maybe, but not usually. Actually, this is what most people ask when going out, "Where are we going to eat?". It is considered a difficult question because it is very confusing, decisions of the people with you must match to everyone in order to make a final decision. Another, why is it difficult to answer that question, because there are a lot of choices on where to eat. Just thinking different options regarding the prices, the location, the variety of food and the quality of food, definitely very confusing. Also, other people consider the type of food they want to eat, if it is healthy, high on quality or just something different.

I am definitely a food hunter, interested on different types of food and different restaurants. Actually, any will do, even if it is fast-food, small eatery, bistro, restaurant and also restobars because I just want to see something different and unique about the products and services they offer. Actually what important is the way they will satisfy the customers and make sure that the customers will come back, wanting for more.

22nd of May 2012, I went to a newly opened restobar around Cavite, Philippines. It is located, opposite of the main entrance of SM Bacoor, behind ChikBoy (name of a restaurant), and part of the "The New City Hub" building. It is actually easy to see, because it's a bit far from the other restobars, it is a plus for them because they are very easy to notice. *wink* 

The restobar name is:

~TAKEYA Restobar ~

TAKEYA restobar is I think a Hawaiian themed restobar because of how it is designed. The walls are made up of bamboo sticks. Chairs and Tables are made up of wood (strong type of wood of course) and Hawaiian fire torches are easily noticed (it is actually why I think it is Hawaiian themed) *wink*. The design is actually good because when you enter, you will see the bar with very cute green lights and there is like stacks of glasses that made it very interesting. Then, servers will be approaching you (very attentive) and will be escorting you to your seats. Then from your place, you will see the bar and the billiard tables (pictures shown below). The place is a bit dark, (because it is a restobar) and when a server presents their menu, they will be carrying a tiny flashlight with them and will light towards the menu in order for the customers to read the menu well (good idea).

The food in Takeya restobar is really interesting; here are some pictures on what the menu looks like.

TAKEYA Restobar offers different types of food. They offer "Manukan" (different types of Chicken Dish), "Yamang Dagat" (different types of Seafood Dish), "Babuyan" (different types of Pork Dish), "Bakahan" (Beef Dishes), "Sizzling ni Chef Choy" (different sizzling dishes), "Pampahaba Ng Buhay" (Noodle Dishes), "Sari-saring Luto Ng Kanin" (different ways of Rice Dish), "Pang Foodtrip ni Chef" (combined rice and viands in 1 type of dish), "Damputan" (snacks perfect with alcoholic drinks) and more. But, the very interesting type of food that they offer are EXOTIC DISHES. They have different dishes for HORSE MEAT, GOAT MEAT, BOAR MEAT and many more. Unique right? definitely very interesting! Of course they offer alcoholic drinks such as Beer, Gin and etc.

And yes, we didn't try any of the Exotic dishes, we wanted to but we are not that sure if we will be having a right decision. *wink*

Entertainments offered in TAKEYA Restobar:

To those who enjoy playing Billiards, they offer playing Billiards for a fee. (sorry, wasn't able to ask how much it is) but it is very fun playing while hanging out with your friends. So that, you will not get bored while drinking and eating. Another is that, they have a stage for live bands, Acoustic bands are usually playing but when we visited, it is an open-mic night so, to those who likes singing (drunk or not drunk) would really enjoy it here *wink*. Plus, they have a very cute bar with green lights, you can sit beside the bar while talking to the bartender (of course he would entertain you) and while watching him make you drinks.

Me and a friend of mine really had a great time, we actually came from SM Bacoor just to hang around and yet we want to try something different for our food, that is why we tried eating here. And another, I am invited by another friend of mine, but NO, I didn't come here just to support my friend, actually I was hiding when I arrived. I just wanted to see how the place is and what food they offer. I would not be a true friend if I am biased and another, I don't have to lie if there won't be anything to lie about. The food is great, awesome variety of food and the ambiance is really great for a typical restobar (Restobar by the way is, restaurant infused with bar, LOL).

The people here are very jolly, the servers are very attentive and the place is comfortable for a restobar. If you are seeking for a very fun night life, this is a place for it. If seeking for a great food and worth the price, this is the place for it. If seeking for a place where you will have fun and will definitely not waste your time, go plan now because I'm sure that this is the place for YOU!

It's been a long time again since I last posted here. Well, I've been very busy this past few months, taking care of myself and taking the road for the path of my future.
